Sunglasses: Kate Spade Gala Sleek Wayfarer
Although it may not feel like it where you are weather wise, the first day of fall is officially here, and for me, that means trying a few different color pallets, and transitioning to more layered looks in preparation for what I am hoping will be cooler temperatures. In today’s post, I’m playing with three colors I love, pink, gray, and black all in one outfit. Since the color gray seems to always be a fall favorite, and a nice alternative neutral to black, I thought I would try the soft combination of pink and gray, with a touch of black for a recent meeting.
I really like the combination of pink and gray. The colors are soft, and they give any look a classic feel. For this outfit, I paired this BR striped boxy top, with my pink BR double breasted long vest. I love both of these pieces because they are so timeless, and can be worn with a variety of other items in my wardrobe. I added the BR faux leather trim drapery pant, and finished the outfit with my pink Halogen studded T-strap pumps, my Rebecca Minkoff mini quilted affair bag, and wore my Kate Spade gala sleek wayfarer sunglasses as needed. The thing I love most about the pieces in this look, is that each piece is so very versatile. The top can be worn with a skirt or pants, the vest can be worn with jeans, a dress or skirt, and it can even be worn without a top underneath depending on the weather. The pants work well with any top, blazer or sweater, and the shoes and bag can be worn dressy or casual, and will maintain their fashion appeal for quite some time.
To me, there are so many colors that work equally well with gray, so in today’s “Style Guide”, I’m sharing a few gray color combinations you may want to try.
Style Guide: Gray Color Combinations To Try
Try Gray With Dark Green – Pairing gray with dark green will give your look an air of sophistication.
Pair Gray With A Pop Of Color – Pairing gray and white with a pop of color like lime green or yellow will add a little edge to your look.
Wear Gray With Burgundy – Burgundy is one of this season’s hottest colors, so pairing it with gray will give your look a rich and very fashion forward feel.
Give Gray On Gray A Try – Pairing various shades of gray in one outfit for a monochromatic look adds a sophisticated and chic feel.
I hope the gray color combination suggestions in today’s “Style Guide”, will inspire you to try different looks with gray this fall.
