Bag: Ann Taylor Mini Suede Bucket Bag (Now On Sale)
If you’re a boot lover like me, then I’m sure you’re already aware of one of the hottest boot trends this season, the over the knee (OTK) boot. The OTK boot is truly a statement footwear, and it’s being worn in almost every color, and in heel heights ranging from flat to very high, so not only are there a variety of style options, there are also a variety of ways to wear the boots.
For this outfit, I wore my Guess D’Andra Over The Knee Boots over my Old Navy The Diva Original Skinny Jeans. I paired them with my Express Cape, my BR Striped Modal Tee, and I added my Ann Taylor Mini Suede Bucket Bag. I absolutely love these Guess OTK boots. The heel is perfect for wearing from everything from jeans to dresses and skirts, and the soft suede makes them easy to put on. Because some people may feel the OTK boot is a little over the top, and may be a little unsure about how to style them, I thought in today’s “Style Guide”, I would share a few tips on how to wear them.
Style Guide: How To Wear Over The Knee Boots
Pair Them With A Chic Dress – Pair your over the knee boots with a chic dress of any kind. Wearing this boot with a dress that hits just above the knee, is a great way to pull off the OTK boot.
Just Add A Pair Of Jeans – For a stylish on the go outfit, wear your OTK boot over a pair of skinny jeans with a sweater, cape, or blazer.
Wear Them With Leggings – To add some instant glam and style to your favorite pair of leggings, pull on a pair of OTK boots, and a cardigan sweater or wrap.
Pair Them With A Mini Skirt – To add a little edge to your look, wear your OTK boots with a mini skirt, and a suede or leather jacket.
I hope these “Style Guide” tips will give you a few ideas on how you can wear OTK boots.
