One of the many things I love about visiting any of the islands in Hawaii, is the warm, friendly attitude of the people who live there. During my many visits to Oahu, I’ve always noticed the generosity and gratefulness of native Hawaiians, and this demeanor is such a major part of their culture that you constantly hear the word “Mahalo”, which is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards or respects.
I recently visited Oahu, and during a casual day around the island, I wore this Loft Foral Halter Top, and my Banana Republic Belted Chambray Wide Leg Pants. I slipped on my Ann Taylor Camel Slides, and grabbed a scarf for any late afternoon chill. My favorite item from this outfit is the belted chambray wide leg pant. These pants are perfect for spring and summer, because they are lightweight, and chambray always works for this time of year, and the wide leg style is really on trend, making them both functional and stylish for the spring and summer season. These pants can be worn with everything from a striped or printed tee, to a crisp white blouse or darker or lighter chambray top for different twist on a denim on denim look.
