Although there are so many things to do, and places to see in New York, during my trip, I wanted to make a quick stop by New York’s Bryant Park. The majority of people who visit New York are most familiar with Central Park, however, Bryant Park, located in the heart of Manhattan, plays host to many activities and events, most notably until 2010, Bryant Park was home to New York’s Fashion Week. My visit to the park was brief, because we were on our way to an event, but it was still nice to stop by and take in a little of the park, and pay homage to it’s fashion week history.
Because we were going to an event, I could not wear my normal park attire (extremely casual), but chose pink and gray (two color combinations I love), for a slightly gray day in the Big Apple. I like combining pink and gray because the colors individually are now considered the “new neutrals,” and to me it combines the softness of pink with the boldness of gray.
I know there are many parks to see in New York, so if you visit the city, be sure to research the parks, and check them out.
