Top: Mutton Sleeve Top
Bottom: Gemstone Jeans
Shoes: Block Heel Sandal
Bag: Gucci Bag
Well, I think it’s pretty clear by what we see in fashion magazines, gemstone styles are definitely a thing this season. I’ve been seeing gemstones on everything from jeans and tops, to shoes and bags, so of course, I had to get in on this embellished trend. Because as a full-time blogger, my everyday attire usually includes athlesiure wear or jeans, I decided to try out these gemstone jeans.
Although I don’t wear a lot of embellished pieces, I do like having a few pieces in my wardrobe, to make it easy to mix things up from time to time. The thing I love most about gemstone or embellished pieces is that you can easily dress them up or down. For this look, I paired this Mutton Sleeve Top, with these Gemstone Mom Jeans. I added my Block Heel Sandals and my Gucci Bag as accessories. With gemstone or embellished pieces, it can often be difficult to figure out just how to style them to make sure you do not look overdone, so in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few ways to style gemstone or embellished pieces.
Style Guide: How To Style Gemstone Or Embellished Pieces
Pair An Embellished Top With A Simple Bottom – The key to styling an embellished top, is to pair it with a simple bottom, like a solid pant or skirt. This will keep your look classic and simple.
Pair An Embellished Bottom With A Basic Top – A basic top with clean lines, and very little details will help to showcase your embellished bottoms, and give your outfit a stylish look and feel.
Pair Embellished Shoes With A Minimal Look – For a super chic look, add a little pop of shine or texture with embellished shoes to a minimal look.
Pair An Embellished Bag With Any Look – We all know that sometimes accessories can make or break a look, but you can never go wrong with an embellished or gemstone bag. This accessory can be worn with everything from a causal jean look to a dress for an evening out.
If you’ve ever had trouble figuring out how to style gemstone or embellished pieces, I hope today’s “Style Guide” has given you a few ideas.
