Bottom: Gap 1969 Sexy Boyfriend Jeans (Now On Sale)
Well, as the Thanksgiving holiday is now upon us, and most of us are finding ourselves running around shopping and preparing for guests, like me, I’m sure you’ve found yourself visiting your grocery store or neighborhood market at least once, and then back again for the things you forgot. On my errand days, I like to knock out as many as possible in one day, and I also like to try to be as comfortable as I can. I’m sure you’ve seen various versions of these super cute fair isle sweaters everywhere, from magazines to store mannequins, and I think their popularity are in part due to their unique designs, and their comfort.
For this errand day, I wore my BR Non-Iron Fitted Stripe Shirt, underneath my Old Navy Fair Isle Sweater. I paired them with my Gap 1969 Sexy Boyfriend Jeans, and added my Express Fringe Heel Faux Suede Bootie, and my Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Mini Affair bag. For my day full of errands and holiday grocery shopping, this outfit was beyond comfortable and very quick and easy to put together. The sweater is soft and perfect for layering, and the boyfriend jeans to me are stylish, and perfect to dress up or dress down for an errand day. I absolutely love my Express Fringe Heel Suede Booties. They are extremely comfortable, and so on trend with the fringe detail. With the holiday season officially in full swing, I thought in today’s “Style Guide” I would share a few tips on how to manage your holiday errands in style and comfort.
Style Guide: Tips For Holiday Errands In Comfort
Add A Couple Of Layers – Wearing a sweater over a blouse or a jacket over a blouse or sweater, with a coat when needed, adds versatility to your errand day comfort and style. For cooler weather and going in and out of stores while shopping, the outer piece will be perfect for keeping you warm. As the day wears on, and if you or the weather gets warmer, you can simply remove a layer.
Carry A Crossbody Bag – Crossbody bags are not only in style, they are also very functional for shopping. They limit the amount of items you are carrying by hand, and they are the right size to hold all of your must haves as you run errands.
Wear Pants Or Denim That Allows Movement – Pants with a little stretch in the fabric, or jeans that are cut to skim the body like boyfriend jeans, are perfect for errands and holiday shopping. You won’t feel confined by your clothing, and you can easily move while checking off that to-do, or shopping list.
Wear Comfortable Shoes – When running errands and being on your feet while shopping, keeping your feet happy is key to making it through the day. Adding a pair comfortable shoes to your outfit, like a wedge heel or mid-heel boot will be both comfortable and stylish.
I hope today’s “Style Guide” will help you tackle your holiday errands and shopping in comfort.
